Dr. Sam Key was a prominent Austin Physician. This fine example of Colonial architecture was built in 1939 by architect Hugo Kuehne. It features detail wood work by Peter Mansbendel and ironwork by F. Weigl Ironworks.


Peter Mansbendel carved this overdoor in Cypress in 1939. Notice the key just below the finial.

was believed to have been executed by F. Weigl Ironworks.
